Freddie

This is Freddie...

An unusual name for a german shepherd.  But as a owner surrender to the shelter, that was his name from a pup, so it shall be.

Freddie is approx 4-5yrs old, neutered, UTD in vaccinations and chipped.

In coming to the shelter he got sick… not once, but twice.  So he lost weight.   But due to the way he was bred, and then confined in a kennel while at the shelter, he now needs a lot of TLC.   Freddie needs to put on weight… but the weight needs to be in the form of muscle for his hind end. He also needs proper exercise. Walking on concrete, grass, thru sand, or snow drifts, and up slight inclines. Going for a couple miles walk on a trail won’t do it. His feet and upper thighs need to develop good muscle to give him comfort.  So we probably will say he is a special needs guy that needs a home willing to put in the time to help him achieve a better quality of life.  We have done this before.  There is Moose, now 14yrs and Ruger, now 3yrs just to name a few.  With a dedicated family, Freddie will improve and have a great life.

Right now, we feel, no cats, no children, and if another dog, a nice middle aged female is recommended.  He is a little shy at first with strangers and unsure; yet with a gentle introduction, he will warm up nicely.  When we went to take his picture, as you can see... he thought we were going to steal his soul.  hahaha.

Kyla

Greetings Humans……

My name is Kyla.  And some days I am sad.  When Aunt Kathy said she was going to take my picture… I looked at her and wondered if it would hurt.  I try so hard to be a good dog and blend in like another flower in the garden.  My foster dad and Aunt Kathy said that I should not try so hard and just relax and smile and have fun.  I’m working on that, really I am.

I am a 5yr old bi-color female that gets along well with other dogs.

They think I would do best with just adults, as children are too scary.   A secure 6ft privacy fence is required.   I’m still working on trust and settle issues.   I need a patient and quiet home.   Aunt Kathy says, still a work in progress.

So if you are work from home or a retired human… you may want to check me out.  We would be able to make special memories together.

Fill out an application and come meet Kyla…… and start making special memories.

Nala

Calling all White German Shepherd lovers....

Meet Nala.

This gorgeous 5yr old female is looking for her forever home. Well mannered, plays well with well-mannered dogs, so-so with cats, and older children preferred. She found her way into rescue when her family could no longer take care of her. It was recently discovered she has canine DLE, a form of auto-immune skin disorder.... Lupus. ...

We here at Simply Shepherds Rescue have her medical records and are now putting her on a raw diet to detox her body of the bad cells and meds and try to put her body into remission.

Nala is UTD in vacs and needs to go to a family that will continue to feed her on a raw food diet. To some, that is no problem, to others, it may be a challenge. However, this is what will help keep her healthy and comfortable. She loves to play fetch, and she would love to be a part of your life.

Are you looking for that special soul.... then contact Simply Shepherds Rescue

Jet

Meet Jet.

Meet Jet.... Mr Zoom Zoom pup. This handsome dude is very smart, learning focus, and plenty of drive. Jet needs a job... a real job. Playing ball and going for walks are not enough to work his brain and desire to achieve higher levels of canine education. A service or therapy dog.. no.... Yet a police K9 or sniffer dog... very very possible. Only serious humans need to apply. Jet will require a adoption application in advance of a meet n greet. This pup is a diamond in a ruff for sure.

He is neutered and UTD in vaccinations and microchipped.

Dooby

Meet Dooby.
This is Dooby.... a handsome mature lab mix. His caretaker could no longer keep him. Instead of going to a shelter, he contacted one of our volunteers. We could not say no. This fantastic mature boy is everything you can imagine. Friendly, house-trained, great with other dogs. Not sure about young children. Take a look at these pics.... can you guess his age? If you do, he goes home with a free bag of dog food. His temperment and shape and good looks makes him a great addition to a loving home. Please share his pictures and let's find him a nice warm cozy bed for the rest of his life. You won't regret adding him to your memories - Simply Shepherds Rescue.

Rudy

Meet Rudy.

Meet Rudy..... So many times, folks ask you to pull, take into rescue the young, abused, handsome souls. Seniors and special needs are usually put to the side. Rudy had his front right leg amputated some time ago. Then he spent the rest of his time outside in the yard. Finally the owners decided to dump him. And for his sake... that was a blessing. Rudy is a mature guy of approx 8yrs. And he is a big handsome hunk of a dog. He is housetrained, good with well manners dogs and just wants a loving soft bed to cozy into. His was in poor shape... dirty, loss of hair on his underside, disgusting long nails, and still needs to have his family jewels removed. A home with just a step or two inside and out will be required. And some carpet runners to give his good footing. Not much to ask for for this guy. Please share and help us find his forever home for his golden years. Simply Shepherds Rescue

He is UTD in vaccinations and microchipped.

Wendy

Miss Wendy.

Meet Wendy... this adorable pixie is nothing but fun and silliness. Which brings the lack of proper manners and focus on learning to be a good puppy citizen. Wendy is very people and dog friendly. But does not have a clue about control of her silliness. She will need a gentle hand and guidance in puppy classes to direct her pretty little brain in the right direction. Wendy will need a dedicated family and also one with plenty of patience to make her the fabulous shepherd she is designed to be. We do not suggest children under 10 due to her silliness.

Max

Meet Max.

This is Max.... Here is the happy and silly mature MAX. This delightful soul had a rough life before being dumped into a shelter and now living in rescue. Years of neglect didn't deter him from still having a great personality and craving human's love. Max came to us with a serious medical problem and required immediate surgery. That is behind him and he is making a great recovery. Yet he has one more medical issue to accomplish... heartworm treatment. We will be starting him on that and expect full recovery also. Max is truly a kind hearted soul you need to meet and add to your family. He can go to his forever home while taking heartworm treatments. He is enjoying the comforts of living in a home with a big cozy bed and getting treats and chewing on a bone. Toys would be a bonus. Please consider bringing this loving soul into your family.... you will be rewarded tenfold. .

He is neutered and UTD in vaccinations and microchipped.

Please take the time to consider him as a great addition to your life.
